This tutorial examines lens flares in Nuke. First, I go through the gizmos that you can download and install into Nuke to create lens flares. Then we examine the ‘Flare’ tool in Nuke, going into detail ​looking at the individual controls. Finally, we’ll construct a lens flare from scratch, only using standard nodes found in the default installation of Nuke.
